Clorophylline

1. Description of the product.

"CLOROPHYLLINE" is a water solution of sodium chlorophylline (constituent of neutralised extractive substances derived from foliage of spruce (Picea abies)). "CLOROPHYLLINE" contains: - derivatives of "a" and "b" chlorophyll (chlorine, sodium salts of chlorophylline acids etc.), - sodium salts of resinous acids (pimaric-, isopimaric-, abietic- and labdane types), - sodium salts of fatty acids (mainly oleic-, stearic- and linolic).

2. Application.

The product can be used as a biologically active food additive and color, as well as in cosmetics (creams, deodorants etc.) It is an analogue of food additive E 141 according the Codex Alimentarius. The product shows bacteriostatic and regenerative properties. Researches on medical uses are under way. With functional leucopenia the preparation is found to regenerate fast enough the number of leukocytes in blood, stabilises the membranes of blood cells, controls the process of ferrous and potassium metabolism.

Daily amount 30 - 50 g of "Chlorophylline" provides for necessary quantity of chlorophyll at any time of season. SODIUM CHLOROPHYLLINE is a constituent of neutralised extractive substances derived from foliage of spruce (Picea abies). Sodium chlorophylline comprises: - derivatives of "a" and "b" chlorophyll (chlorine, sodium salts of chlorophyllineacids etc.), - sodium salts of resinous acids (pimaric-, isopimaric-, abietic- and labdane types), - sodium salts of fatty acids (mainly oleic-, stearic- and linolic). SODIUM CHLOROPHYLLINE is used as active food additive and color, as well as in cosmetics (creams, deodorants etc.).
